#25 SIGNS FOR THE TIMES- THE ZODIAC (Part II of My Thoughts on the End Times)
I believe the Earth is approaching or just beyond its 6,000th birthday with Christ’s millennium the Sabbath of a Biblical week with each day representing a thousand years. I do not believe it has to be precisely six thousand years, because Satan has been around that entire time and may know the six thousandth year to the year, but I do believe it must be fairly close. The six thousand years span is divided into three portions of about two thousand years each: Creation to the birth of Abram circa 2008 AC (After Creation) with the Flood in about the year 1656 AC, the second period of about two thousand years with the focus on Israel, ending with the birth of Christ, and the final third period, the era of the church, the Christian Age, i.e. the present age. Each period approximated 40 Jubilees with the Jubilee being the fiftieth year.
I read that Abe Lincoln as a young man gave up Christianity for many years because he read Volney’s Ruins, a book by a French philosopher, who pointed out that a resurrection message was written in the stars long before the message of Christianity. Volney believed that Christianity was fabricated from that ancient message from the stars. In the first chapter of Genesis, verse 14, it says God put lights in the heavens for signs and seasons, and for days and years. Signs? What possible signs? The Jews say a total lunar eclipse, i.e. a blood moon, foretells disaster for Israel, whereas a total solar eclipse, disaster for the Gentiles. One Bible study noted that one of the things that made the people of Nineveh repent when Jonah told them words to the effect, forty days and you get yours,
per Jonah 3:4, was a total solar eclipse a few years earlier. In the same light, a total solar eclipse began in Portland, Oregon, a very secular city, and went completely across the continental United States on August 21, 2017. Was this an omen of catastrophe(s) to come for America? The Assyrians of Nineveh repented, but did America repent for driving the God of the Bible and His Son from our schools and American law?
Many scholars believe Christ was crucified on Passover in 32 or 33 AD. Mark Biltz in his 2014 book, Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs that there was a total lunar eclipse on the Passover in 32 AD and a partial lunar eclipse on Passover in 33 AD. There were also solar eclipses on Nisan 1, the start of the Jewish religious year per Exodus 12:2 and Rosh Hashanah (Trumpets) in both 32 and 33 AD. Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple were destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. There were lunar eclipses on Sukkot, also known as Tabernacles, the Hebrew harvest feast, in 69 AD, and also on Passover in 70 AD. Solar eclipses were noted in 70 and 71 AD on Nisan 1, again the start of the Hebrew religious year. Was the Zodiac a message from God to tell us of the virgin birth of the Messiah and continuing till His return to reign, a message of salvation, written in the skies by God Himself after the Fall of Adam and Eve?
I would consider it a sign that the size of the moon and its position or distance from the Earth is just right for a total eclipse of the sun, i.e. the moon covers the entire sun but not beyond it. Why is the moon not larger or smaller but just right for a total solar eclipse at its distance from the Earth?. Important scientific data has been gathered which could only be obtained if a total solar eclipse of the sun occurred, but it spared the sun’s corona. Design and a sign!
Per Jude 14, Now Enoch (who was taken by God before the Flood as Elijah was taken after the Flood. They never died.), the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these (wicked) men also, saying, "Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him." Thus, Enoch, in the first two-thousand-year span before the Flood, predicted the coming of Christ to destroy the ungodly in the third two-thousand year span. It appears the coming of Christ to destroy His enemies was taught in the preFlood or antediluvian days, not only by Enoch, but also by a great star picture in the sky called the Zodiac, Mazzaroth in Hebrew. In other words, the Zodiac beginning with Virgo and ending with Leo, the lion of Judah, foretold the life of Christ and His second coming to reign.
Psalm 19, a psalm of David who reigned over Israel circa 1003 to 970 AD in about the middle of the six thousand years, appears to confirm this.
1. The heavens declare the glory of God (by their vastness and beauty, but also by the Zodiac);
And the firmament (sky) shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge. (God's great night sky picture- Christ coming to suffer, and thereafter reign)
There is no speech nor language
Where there voice is not heard.
There voice has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
In Amos 5:8 “He (God) made the Pleiades and Orion.” In Job, the oldest book of the Bible save Genesis, 38:31 God asks this question of Job: "Canst thou bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in His season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?" Mazzaroth is a Hebrew word referring to the Zodiac and its signs. The other three are constellations of the Zodiac. To me, God is confirming He is the Creator of this picture in the sky.
The night sky, which we take for granted as a rule, is awesome as is the God Who created it. The vastness is amazing, but I believe there is a message there from the time of creation.
The Zodiac consists of constellations around a circle in the night sky. Twelve major signs or constellations comprise the Zodiac. Three minor signs, sub signs, or decans, go with each major one. These signs and decans go back past the ancient civilizations of Rome, Greece, Assyria, Babylon and the Hebrews. The Arabs and the rabbis date the constellations of the Zodiac back to Seth (the first couple’s third son after Cain slew Abel) and/or Enoch, the 7th from the line of Adam. Seth was 492 when Enoch was born and lived to be 912, and Enoch, like Elijah, was taken by God at age 365. He never died. Hence, Seth was alive during all of Enoch’s 365 years. For some reason, God allowed man to grow much older then than now. Their world was different in some ways than ours, e.g. no rain (Gen 2:6).
Am I a proponent of daily horoscopes to find out how one’s day will go? Not at all! God hated astrology- See Isaiah 47:12-14 where the prophet scorns the astrologers. I believe God put the message of the salvation that would come in the skies before the Flood, and that later the message was perverted in ancient Babylon a hundred years or so after the Flood into something entirely different from what was intended. In Genesis 11, we are told humanity decided to build a tower to heaven. I believe they changed the message of the Zodiac at this time, a Satanic counterfeit which gave birth to predictive astrology based on the sun, the moon, the planets, and the host of heaven. i.e. the stars. God clearly despises those who believe that the stars direct their future, but I still believe He placed a message of the future in the heavens, and that one can still make out the message, or at least parts of it. One should understand that the star groupings or constellations do not resemble what they are supposed to represent. One must find their meanings in the mythology that goes with them, and, particularly, in the names of the individual stars, also with reference to their brightness.
Today the Zodiac begins with Aries the Ram, which changes the message entirely. Per the late D. James Kennedy of Coral Ridge Ministries, inside the Egyptian Sphinx which is felt to predate the pyramids, there is a Zodiac which begins at a different place than the modern Zodiac. Likely, the first major change occurred in Babylon after the Deluge, but before Abram’s birth. In the Sphinx, it begins with Virgo, the Virgin, and ends with Leo, the Lion. If evolution is true and the Earth is billions of years old, then I find it strange that society would honor a virgin with a sign. After all, our society today hardly honors virginity, and it believes in evolution, even changing American law from a foundation based on the Bible to one based on evolution. Might makes right has been the rule for most of humanity’s history. I also find the next sign curious. The sign that follows Virgo is Libra the Scales, a sign for justice- justice from evolution, a difficult concept for me to grasp as justice requires truth which evolution denies except, of course, for scientific truth as long as it supports evolution.
Well, back to the first sign of the Zodiac, Virgo, also the sign for Zebulon, where Nazareth was located (Isaiah 9:1-2). The Virgin bears wheat in one hand and a branch in the other. Christ was referred to as the branch per Zechariah 6:12 and 3:8 as well as Isaiah 4:2. Regarding the wheat, Christ said unless it falls into the ground and dies, it abideth alone. As noted earlier, each major sign of the Zodiac has 3 decans, or sub signs. The decans of Virgo are most interesting. One is Coma, which denotes a young virgin sitting on a throne nourishing an infant boy. Coma means the Desired One, or Longed for One, i.e. the Messiah.
Remember Isaiah 7:14 (dated to about 735 BC) "Therefore the LORD Himself will give you a sign; Behold, the virgin will conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." One authority has said that the word virgin in Hebrew can also mean young woman, and that this would not of necessity refer to the Messiah. I can understand that. "A young woman will conceive." That is very unusual! Certainly, that would be a great sign from God. I am amazed at the contortions of the so-called experts. In the Septuagint Greek Old Testament, completed about 275 BC, the word is translated as virgin.
Another decan is the Centaur, half-man and half-horse. I would say Christ has two natures, though we know He is fully God and fully man, something I believe, but don’t understand. The Centaur is known as The Despised One. Per Greek mythology, centaurs were heaven begotten, the sons of gods, but they were abhorred by gods and men. They were hunted and finally all killed. Cheiron was the most famous centaur, head of all the centaurs. Renowned for his hunting, for medicine, for teaching, prophecy, and music. Though having eternal life, he voluntarily agreed to give his immortality to Prometheus and die. Does that sound like Anyone in the Christian New Testament?
The brightest star in the Centaur was Cheiron in Greek that has a Hebrew root meaning the pierced (Zechariah 12:16, John 19:34). It is curious to note that per Jasher, meaning the upright, a book noted twice in the Bible per Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18 that before the Flood in Jasher 4:18 “ …the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order to provoke the LORD; and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals.” Christ said “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Apparently, before the Flood, there was massive genetic manipulation just like that occurring in the present times. Perhaps, there were centaurs, but I am not aware of any such skeletons. Perhaps, such a creature would be sterile, like a mule from an ass and a horse. Does this prove evolution? Hardly! Evolution was the slow change in animals over long periods of time. In the last few decades, one evolution enthusiast wrote of a dinosaur producing an egg that yielded a bird. I would classify that as a miracle, which evolutionists do not believe in. However, if the new bird is male, it requires a female to reproduce, i.e. another miracle is required at the same time and it must be the opposite sex for procreation.
The final decan is known as Bootes, The Coming One. He is also known as Arcturus, The Watcher or Keeper of Arktos, The Flock or Sheepfold, which referred to the constellations that later became the Bears, the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper. Al Kapturops, the star on the right side or arm of Bootes, means The Rod, or The Branch, often connected to the shepherd’s crook. In Egyptian, he is Smat, which means One Who Rules, Subdues, and Governs. In his head is the star Beta, also known as Nekkar, which means The Pierced. In one hand, he holds a spear (to conquer the earth); in the other, a sickle (to harvest the earth?). Does that sum up the mission of Christ rather well or not?
Libra, the Scales, follows Virgo. It was the Zodiac sign for the tribe of priests, Levi. A blindfolded woman holding scales is a symbol for justice. One of the stars in Libra in Arabic is Zuben al Genubi, The Price Deficient. The others are translated as: The Price Which Covers, Heaped Up High, and The Price of the Conflict. One of the decans of Libra is The Southern Cross which curiously disappeared from the skies of Jerusalem about the time of the Crucifixion. The Europeans did not see it again until the Portuguese headed south along the coast of Africa looking for a path to India in the late 1400s A.D. Great must have been their joy in rediscovering The Cross. Another sign is Lupus, often translated as The Wolf, but perhaps better translated as The Victim, with the third decan being a Crown.
Scorpio is the third sign. It represents a Scorpion, which represents Satan. Antares, the principal star in this constellation, means Wounding, Cutting, Tearing. Scorpio was the sign of the tribe of Dan. Jacob prophesied on the tribe of Dan in Genesis 49:17: Dan shall be a serpent by the way, a viper by the path, that bites the horses heels so that its rider shall fall backward… It is interesting to note the way were words that referred to early Christianity. Dan was also the tribe that first brought idolatry into the land of Israel per Judges 17 & 18. When the 144,000 sealed servants of God go out to the world in the seventh chapter of Revelation, verses 5 to 8, there are 12,000 from each tribe except Dan.
Above Scorpio is the Serpent Holder or Strong Man, Opiuchus, who holds a serpent and is keeping him from reaching the Crown above him. Opiuchus is in full stride with one foot about to crush the head of the Scorpion, and the other about to be stung in the heel by its tail. This brings to mind Genesis 3:15, the first prophecy noted in the Bible, known as the protoevangelium. God speaks to the serpent (Satan) immediately after the fall: "and I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel." Most commentators note that this is the only time where seed is used to refer to a woman. Usually it symbolizes male sperm or semen. The Seed of woman is a designation for Christ as He was the only human born of woman without a man. God was promising a virgin birth. The Zodiac begins with Virgo because His birth begins the third two-thousand year period, and His triumphant return ends the same period.
The final decan of Scorpio was the Roman Hercules, who is on one knee, brandishing a club in his right hand while holding a three headed monster in his left hand. His left foot is on the head of Draco, the Dragon, which looks like a serpent from the Zodiac I have seen. In his head is the brightest star, Ras al Gethi, which means The Head of Him Who Bruises. A second star means The Branch Kneeling. It is another representation of the first prophecy given by God.
The fourth sign of the Zodiac is Sagittarius, The Archer, who is also a centaur. He is aiming an arrow at the heart of the scorpion. The Greeks believed this represented the chief of the centaurs, Cheiron, who was previously noted as immortal, but gave his mortality up for another. A being with a double nature but half-man who will destroy the representation of Satan. Now Who could that be?
The next sign is Capricornus, the SeaGoat, with the front half of the figure, a dying goat, and the hind section a tail of a vigorous fish arising from the dying goat. The goat is a sacrificial animal. Gedi and Dabih, the most prominent stars in this constellation mean in Hebrew, The Cut-Off, The Hewn-Down, The Sacrifice Slain. Hence, the dying goat becomes a new creation, the church, represented by the fish tail.
One of the decans of Capricornus is the Arrow, Sagitta. It is naked and alone, with no visible archer. Nearby is Aquila, the Eagle which in the old Zodiacs is always seen as falling. An eagle is a royal bird, and this one was struck by the arrow. The brightest star is Al Tair, which means The Wounding in Arabic. There is also Tacared which, in Hebrew, means The Wounded or Torn. Al Cair means The Piercing. In the tail of the eagle is Al Okab meaning Wounded in the Heel, again Genesis 3:15's protoevangelium.
I recall the conquest of Troy by the Greeks in Homer’s Iliad. The Trojan’s greatest warrior, Hector, is killed in single combat by the great Greek hero, Achilles, who drags Hector’s body around the walls of Troy with his chariot. Achilles had been dipped in the sacred river Styx as an infant. This made his body impervious to weapons, except where he was held by his heel when dipped. Paris had initiated the Trojan War by stealing Helen. He then shot an arrow into this heel and ended the life of Achilles. The protoevangelium cursing Satan was likely written down by Adam, before the Zodiac was placed in the heavens by God before the Deluge with the Iliad taking liberties with the story from the night sky.
Another curiosity is the precise wording of the protoevangelium prophecy. I had always seen pictures of the crucifixion with a short foot stand on the cross in movies and paintings. The nail was then driven through the crossed forefeet. In 1968, the only known crucified person's bones were discovered in a Jerusalem tomb. The nail was driven through the heel bones laterally rather than through the forefeet. Normally the nail, composed of expensive iron, would have been retrieved for reuse, but it hit a knob in the wood and bent back on itself. It was not possible to get the iron out without further damaging the body. Likely, relatives paid for the spike, and it was still in the heel bone at burial. Presuming this was the common method of crucifixion, Genesis 3:15, the protoevangelium, becomes very accurate. Christ's heel was bruised, but not broken as no bone of the Passover Lamb could be broken per Numbers 9:12. The head of the serpent remains to be crushed.
There is one more serpent, representing Satan, in the Zodiac. Hydra, The Fleeing Serpent, is about to be leaped on by Leo the lion, emblematic of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Christ, in the final sign of the Zodiac. It is interesting to note that Hydra is outside the circle denoting the path of the sun in the heavens, on which reside the signs of the Zodiac. Hydra’s location foretells Satan’s final destination. This path of the sun is known as the ecliptic.
Whereas the sign of Capricornus represented a hybrid creature with a dying goat to the front and the hind portion a vigorous fish, the third decan of this sign is Delphinus, the Dolphin, a most energetic, even joyous, ocean creature representing Christ after His resurrection
The pole star four to six thousand years ago was not the present North Star Polaris. I had thought the Pole Star had remained the same for millions of years, but I no longer believe in the earth’s vast ages. Four to six thousand years ago, the pole star was a star in a coil of Draco, the Dragon, usually represented as a serpent. How horrible it must have been for Seth and Enoch to know that the signs of the Zodiac revolved around the star, Alpha Draconis in the coils of this serpent.
The next sign was Aquarius, the Water Bearer, who is pouring out water on a fish, emblematic of the giving of the Holy Spirit to the church. Aquarius is the sign of the tribe of Reuben. The sign following is Pisces the Fish, emblematic of Christianity, but the ancient Jewish rabbis said Pisces was a sign of the people of Israel. There are two fish with one heading toward the pole star, and the other following the ecliptic, or pathway of the sun. Could this represent the church as the one heading to the sheepfold with Polaris, the pole star, as one of its major stars? Of course, Israel was looking for heaven too, but God promised Israel the land; the church, the Holy Spirit. For most of Christianity’s history being a Christian was exceedingly dangerous, the ten great persecutions of Rome, the attacks by Islam and the Vikings, the religious wars of Europe. The Anglo-Saxon Age of the last quarter-millennium led many to think as Christians being in charge the norm, rather than their lot over the last two thousand years usually being persecution. And this age appears to be ending with Great Britain giving up Christianity for evolution and, thereafter, losing her empire. The French Revolutionaries would have been proud. And now America is well down the same path, and our financial empire also seems to be crumbling.
The fish heading along the ecliptic would be the Jews. The two tails of both fish are bound by a band, which is a decan of Pisces, to the neck of Cetus, the Sea Monster, largest of the constellations, and a decan of the next sign, Aries, the Ram or the Lamb in Hebrew. In the neck of Cetus, Leviathan of Isaiah 27:1 and Job 41:1-10, is Mira (The Rebel), the most variable and unsteady star in the heavens. It disappears completely at times to the naked eye, seven times in six years according to Bullinger. It is a picture of the Great Rebel, a very unsteady star. The brightest star in the upper mandible is Menkar meaning The Bound or Chained Enemy.
There are two other decans of Pisces other than the Band. One is Cepheus, The King, whose foot is on the pole star, Polaris, with a crown of stars on his head. On the right shoulder is a star meaning The Quickly-Returning; in his girdle, another meaning The Redeemer, and in his left knee, a third star meaning The Shepherd. It is a representation of Christ, of course. A third decan is the constellation of Andromeda, The Chained Woman, a representation of the church. Her stars mean The Broken-Down, The Weak, The Afflicted, The Chained, but this will not always be so.
The next sign is Aries, the Ram, or the Lamb in Hebrew. One of the Lamb’s forelegs stretches across the Bands uniting the two fish of Pisces with the Sea Monster, a decan of Aries. This indicates the Lamb can free the fish. The principal star means The Head or The Uplifted. Other stars mean The Wounded, The Bruised, The Slain. Another decan is Cassiopeia, The Enthroned Woman representing the church as the bride of Christ now enthroned at the left hand of Cepheus, The King, in the heavens. Some of her stars mean The Freed, The Seated, and The Enthroned. The third decan is Perseus, a great hero who beheaded Medusa whose hair was composed of serpents. Whoever looked upon her face was turned to stone. Perseus beheaded Medusa and bagged her head. Remember Genesis 2:15…He shall bruise your (the serpent’s) head, and you shall bruise his heel. Perseus then saved The Chained Woman (Andromeda) from The Sea Monster by turning it to stone from the face of Medusa. Perseus than married The Chained Woman who, once freed, was represented by Cassiopeia at the left hand of her husband, the King. The largest star in the decapitated head of Medusa is constantly changing going from the second magnitude to the fourth magnitude over 69 hours. Many of the stars classified as enemies are variable or unsteady in their light emission.

Taurus is the front part of a Charging Bull with the largest part of the body covered by the complete figure of Aries, the Ram, who faces the opposite direction. Taurus was the sign of the tribe of Joseph, likely emblematic of His second coming to reign. On the shoulder of the charging bull are visible to the naked eye a cluster of seven stars around a central star- the Pleiades, which the ancients said was Noah in the center with the rest of his family riding the waters of the Deluge. One of the decans of Taurus is Eridanus, The River or The River of the Judge. In Daniel 7:9-11, the prophet says, "I watched till the thrones were set, and the Ancient of Days did sit. His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream (river of fire) issued and came forth before Him." It is The River of The Judge, but remember life on Earth was destroyed by water and is to be destroyed in the future by fire. This designates the fire as we follow the message clockwise.
Another decan of Taurus is Orion, The Coming Prince. He is portrayed as a victorious man with the skin of a lion in his left hand and a raised club in his right hand. His left foot is raised to stomp the head of the Enemy, another decan usually portrayed as a Hare, but in Egypt, a serpent. The brightest alpha star in right shoulder is named Betelgeuz, which means The Coming of the Branch (another name for the Messiah). In his left foot is the beta star, Rigel, which means The Foot That Crushes, reminding us of the protoevangelium.. In his left shoulder is Bellatrix, which means coming Swiftly or Swiftly Destroying. One of the three stars in his belt means The Wounded One.
The next sign is Gemini, the twins representing Castor and Pollux in Greek, and Apollo and Hercules in Latin. This was the sign of the tribe of Benjamin. The twins were great heroes. The original Hebrew name was Thaumin, The United. Here we have the twin nature and mission of the Messiah. He was divine and human, Savior and Sufferer. In the head of Castor is the star Castor which means The Ruler. In the head of Pollux is Pollux which means "The Strong One Coming to Labor or Suffer." The star in the left foot of Pollux is Al Henah which means The Hurt, or Afflicted. A bright star in the right knee of Apollo (Castor) is named in Hebrew Mebsuta, meaning Treading Underfoot, again the protoevangelium of Genesis 3:15.
The eleventh sign is Cancer, The Crab, which lives on land and in the water. This is the church possessed and held fast by Christ. The church also lives in two elements, earth and heaven, as did Christ. In the midst of this sign is one of the brightest nebulous clusters in all of heaven called Praesepe, The Multitude, The Offspring, The Innumerable Seed.
The sub signs include Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, now The Big and Little Dippers or the Bears. Bears do not possess the long tails of these signs. Apparently, in the past these signs were The Greater and The Lesser Sheepfolds, which I suspect represent 1. those who come to faith in Christ after the rapture, and 2. the raptured saints. In Ursa Minor is the pole star, Polaris, about which all the heavens revolve. Other stars mean Waiting Him Who Cometh, in Arabic meaning Redeemed Assembly. In Ursa Major are The Assembled Together (Arabic); Herd or Fold (Hebrew), The Flock; The Sheepfold, Multitude of The Assembled.
The last sign is that of the tribe of Judah, ancestor to David, ancestor to the Messiah- Leo, The Lion pouncing upon a Fleeing Serpent, the largest serpent in the sky, that is outside the ecliptic, foretelling his fate. There is also Crater, The Cup, affixed to the serpent's back. "The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; And they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." - Revelation 14:10.
The final decan is Corvus, The Raven, about to feast on The Fleeing Serpent. In Arabic it is Minchir al gorab which means The Raven's Piercing or Tearing to Pieces. The brightest star in the eye of this bird is Al Chiba, which comes from the Hebrew meaning The Curse Inflicted. “And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, 'Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.'” Revelation 19:17,18. - Armageddon per Revelation 16:16.

The Bible is filled with double prophecies, and the Zodiac is no different. The story of the Zodiac runs in a clockwise pattern, but the actual course in the heavens runs in reverse.
In 1969, the Fifth Dimension sang the Age of Aquarius. Many of the New Agers believe we entered the Age of Aquarius in 2000 or 2001, the start of the new millennium. Apparently, they believe the signs change every 2,000 years approximately, but the changeover actually occurs about every 2,131 years. Should the LORD be coming soon, His sign is now in place. Aquarius is The Water Bearer who is pouring out water on a fish, a common sign of Christianity.
And what was the sign for the past two millennia? Pisces The Fish. For the last 2,000 years, we have been in the sign of the fish, a common symbol for Christianity since the crucifixion. Before that it was Aries the Ram. Per Hebrews 9:22 "… without shedding of blood, there is no remission (of sin)." A lamb or a goat was the common sacrifice for the time period of about two millennia from Abraham to Christ, when the nation of Israel was the focus of God. The sign before Aries was the charging bull, Taurus, but he did not represent Christ’s return to reign, but the Almighty’s judgment of the Deluge with the decan Eridanus, The River or The River of The Judge represented by water instead of fire.
The Pleiades are a group of stars on the shoulder of the bull, Taurus, Noah and his family riding out the Flood. With the naked eye, one can usually see 7 stars in a circle surrounding an eighth central star. Presuming the LORD is soon to return, could this also refer to Micah 5:7: …When the Assyrian :(a name for the anti-Christ) comes into our land, and when he treads in our palaces, then we will raise against him, seven shepherds and eight princely men. 6 They shall waste with the sword the land of Assyria, and the land of Nimrod at its entrances. Thus He shall deliver us from the Assyrian.? This has not happened yet!
Now we are in Aquarius, The Water Bearer who is pouring out his water (Spirit) on a fish, one of the sub signs of Aquarius, and a symbol of Christianity. Other decans are Pegasus, The Winged Horse, and Cygnus, the Swan. Stars comprising Pegasus include the meanings: The Returning, He Who Goeth and Returneth, the Branch, Who Carries, The Waters, and Who Causeth the Plenteous Overflow. Perry Stone has recently in 2020 said there will soon be a pouring out of the Spirit of God, another Great Awakening.
There is also the flying swan, a royal bird. Stars here have the meanings: The Lord or Judge to Come, He Who Goes and Returns Quickly, The Glorious Shining Forth, Who Returns as in a Circle, He Shall Come Down, Flying Swiftly. Both Pegasus and Cygnus represent speed to me. The swan is also said to have stars that geometrically represent the truest cross in the heavens. Can Christ be far away?
